Privacy Policy
This policy explains what data we collect when you visit or buy from Yuvakah, what we do with it, and the choices you have. Plain English — no dark patterns.
Last updated: 26 June 2026Yuvakah ("we", "us", "our") operates the website yuvakah.com. We respect your privacy. We only collect what we need to deliver our ebooks and communicate with you about your purchase. We do not sell your data. Ever.
01Who we are
Yuvakah is a digital publisher selling downloadable ebooks for Indian young men across categories including Discipline, Money, Career, Fitness, Mindset, and Spirituality. For questions about this policy or your data, write to hello@yuvakah.com.
02Information we collect
We collect the minimum information needed to deliver our products and run the site.
What you give us directly
- Name & email address — when you place an order.
- Billing details — handled by our payment processor. We never see or store your full card number or UPI PIN.
- Messages — anything you send us by email is stored in our inbox for the purpose of replying and following up.
What we collect automatically
- Basic usage data — pages visited, approximate location (country/city), device & browser type, referring source. Used to understand traffic and improve the site.
- Order metadata — date of purchase, items bought, order ID. Required to honour delivery and support requests.
03How we use your information
We use the information above strictly for the following purposes:
- Delivering your purchase — sending the ebook download link and order receipt.
- Customer support — replying to your emails about orders, downloads, or general questions.
- Site improvement — analysing aggregate, anonymised usage data to improve page performance and prioritise new titles.
- Fraud & abuse prevention — detecting fake orders, chargebacks, and unauthorised redistribution of our ebooks.
- Legal compliance — meeting tax, accounting, and other statutory obligations.
We do not use your data for advertising profiling, behavioural targeting, or any form of resale.
04Cookies & tracking
We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies:
- Essential cookies — required for checkout and download delivery. The site's purchase flow will not function without these.
- Analytics — privacy-friendly analytics (page views, approximate location) to understand which content is useful. We do not use Facebook Pixel or cross-site behavioural tracking.
You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some features (checkout, downloads) may stop working.
05Third-party services
To run the site we use a small set of trusted service providers, each handling data only for their stated purpose:
- Payment gateway (e.g. Razorpay or equivalent) — processes your payment securely. They receive your billing details directly; we receive only a transaction confirmation.
- Email service provider — sends order confirmations.
- Web hosting & CDN — serves the website and ebook downloads.
- Analytics provider — collects anonymised traffic data.
Each provider processes data on our behalf and is required to maintain appropriate data protections.
06Data sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only with:
- The third-party processors listed above (and only what they need to do their job).
- Regulators or law enforcement, when legally required.
- A successor entity, in the event of a sale or merger of Yuvakah — and only under equivalent privacy commitments.
07How long we keep your data
- Order records — retained as required for tax and accounting obligations (typically 7 years in India).
- Support emails — kept for up to 24 months after the last reply.
- Analytics data — anonymised and aggregated; retained up to 26 months.
08Your rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct any inaccurate or outdated information.
- Delete your data (subject to legal retention requirements).
- Object to specific uses of your data.
- Export your data in a portable format.
To exercise any of these rights, email hello@yuvakah.com. We will respond within 30 days.
09Children's privacy
Yuvakah is designed for adults aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately and we will delete it.
10Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
